Air Filter for Pneumatic Systems

Heavier air horns, such as truck and large marine horns, typically operate with air pressure between 4 and 8 bar (sometimes even higher). This pressure is usually supplied from a pressurized air tank, which is filled by a compressor.
The air horn is activated by a so-called 'normally closed' valve, placed between the air tank and the horn. When the valve is activated, air flows to the horn, producing sound.
Our valves are built to be durable. However, some pneumatic systems may contain contamination – often rust particles or dust coming from the air tank or compressor supply. If debris builds up inside the valve, it can cause blockage or malfunction.
To prevent this, you can install this filter at the valve's inlet. Dirt from the system is collected in the reservoir. Once full, the reservoir can be easily removed and emptied.
